Jess Tudor-Williams

Jess has over 20 years’ experience working in NHS management, including in acute delivery, commissioning, and regional management.

She gave up a fledgling career as a professional yachtswoman in the Caribbean to become an NHS Graduate Management Trainee.  Since then she has held operational management and transformation roles at both district general hospitals and London teaching trusts.

She was Senior Programme Manager at UCLPartners Academic Health Science Network and Chief Operating Officer for the National Institute of Cardiovascular Outcome Research.

Jess has led service redesign in acute organisations. She was responsible for the operational development of the Macmillan Cancer Centre at UCLH. And she was part of the team who successfully supported ambitious cardiovascular reform across central and north east London.

She is particularly interested in organisational service design and developing systems to deliver results.

Jess is married with two daughters and one dog, and lives in the wilds of Hampshire. She can usually be found biking, baking or battling with her garden.  Very rarely, she gets the opportunity to sit quietly and knit.
