Naheem Bashir

Naheem’s expertise lies in using digital platforms in really purposeful, efficient and engaging ways.

His specialism is in automating digital processes and he leads on the management of information, data and metrics at Kaleidoscope. He also designs and delivers digital events for health and voluntary clients including the National Lottery Community Fund, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity and NHS England.

Before joining Kaleidoscope, Naheem completed his Experimental Psychology PhD at University College London. His thesis was titled: ‘Using transcranial direct current stimulation to improve speech processes in typical speakers and people who stammer’. If you have an afternoon free, ask him about it.

Naheem has a stammer, which he loves to talk about as he is passionate about supporting others, stammer or not, to find their voice and use it to create a better world. He is also a trustee of the charity Stamma and has led a support group for people who stammer since 2014.

He has a wide range of interests including healthcare tech and tech for good; behaviour change; organisational systems and processes; research and evaluation; public and mental health, including isolation and loneliness.

Naheem enjoys depressing cinema; building a 20% read Kindle library; watching and performing comedy at open mic nights; boxing and mixed martial arts; and anything to do with virtual reality.
