Shane Carmichael
Shane has 20 years’ experience of delivering effective strategy, leadership development and organisation improvement programmes and systems of regulation across public and private sectors.
With a particular responsibility for our strategy and organisation development service, Shane works with health and care leaders and agitators to create the conditions and capabilities that deliver (and sustain) high performing, joyful teams and organisations.
When not at Kaleidoscope, Shane is a lecturer in Healthcare Leadership and Change at University College London and Organisation Change at Warwick Business School. He also sits on the GB Advisory Board for Safer Gambling.
Before joining Kaleidoscope he was Assistant Director for Strategy, Engagement and Communication at the General Medical Council for eight years. Prior to that was a senior manager in Accenture’s Change and Human Performance in Public Service practice.
Outside of that, Shane spends as much time as he can with friends and family, trying to master his downward dog, playing football at an increasingly slow pace, being the worst kind of MAMIL on two wheels, going to gigs and following Manchester United. He insists he is taller than he looks.
