Ted Adams

Ted Adams is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist, medical director, and chief clinical information officer on Merseyside. He has significant expertise in policy and clinical advisory roles.

Ted provides Kaleidoscope with independent clinical insight, and support with interpretation and synthesis of collected data.

He has worked at two strategic health authorities and led a national committee at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Ted has always been interested in how policy really affects the patient sitting, standing or lying in front of a healthcare professional. As a Harkness Fellow based at Kaiser Permanente, California, he pursued his interest of better understanding the ins and outs of clinical relationships with patients and finding out what makes clinicians tick.

Ted lives in Liverpool with his family. In between running his three children round to various clubs, he enjoys cooking and renovating a Victorian house.
